Impromptu Unrehearsed Butchering of Blue Bayou

With apologies to Linda Ronstadt, I was just thinking back to the days when one could walk into any Hi-Fi store and hear this song playing at least once during the visit. It had a bass line that was nicely reproduced by any half-decent system, so it made just about everything sound pretty good. And of course her vocals were amazing, crossing over so many genres that even my dad appreciated her work, even if his admiration had nothing to do with this song.

So in keeping with my usual lack of practice, in the late of night, this rendition came from my tired fingers (and voice). This year is just about over, and I've been having trouble finding time for both practice and video-making here lately, so I just wanted to share a few minutes with anyone who cares to see or hear. This is pulled right off of my "PianoCam" security camera, which is always running, in hopes that something good will happen beneath it.
