Mashed8 just told me that in Germany EA doesn't invite youtubers/streamers to events if they promote G2A. #GermanEconomy . Now if EA continued this practice globally we might see some real change.

This is late, but still.
While I definitely do not have a lot of money, I am definitely going to just save any money I get until games go on sale now. I purchased a few games from G2A before hearing about how shady it is and will not be using it again.

The ammount of gamers who don't understand the severity of the situation and just chalk it up to lame excuses is so incredibly irritating, imagine if you worked for years to make some thing, and then when you finally put it on the market, because of trickery and thievery you loose half or more of your profits, run your studio of passionate creators out of business, and have to stop working your dream job just because some cheap kid that doesn't have the responsibility to get a job wanted that one cool Indy game 25% off. do you realize how stupid you guys sound by saying that it's ok?

Very ballsy video to make Levelcap. This does show that you're very honest about your feelings and I appreciate that. It was very interesting hearing all the facts about this. I had no idea it was stolen keys being sold on these websites. I myself have purchased from G2A, G2Play and Kinguin without the knowledge of this. It's safe to say that I won't be anymore. I think we should all try our best here to share this video. Let's make a change!

If you keep using shit sites like G2A because you think the games are too expensive then pirate the games and buy them from legit retailers like Steam when the price drops.

Well, Jackfrags promotes G2A too. So i left him this message:

Dear Jackfrags, if I see an ad for G2A in your next video I'll have to unsub. After they gave me a monthly subscription which cost about €2, 50 per month I disliked them and refused to buy any games from there. But after Levelcaps recent video where he talked about G2A I'm going to expand my boycot. I don't want to support them in any way, and that includes supporting those who support them.
edit: I wanted to add something. I do not want to unsub at all. You are a great youtuber and your content is awesome. But if you keep supporting G2A I have to unsub.

It's sickening to see that this practice is still allowed to go on and even worse seeing content creators supporting such sites that actively hurt the developers of games that they profit off of with the content they create. It's also easy to forget that even if keys that are sold through the site are not initially obtained by fraudulent means, the denial of profit to the developers still hurts them.

Fucking good video man! I had some good offers made by G2A but i had to say no due to the exceptions i had. Now you have proven them true. Nice to hang out again hope you had a good time the last days of Gamescom! :D
