I really love the quality in Andy that spotlights somewhat regular folks/friends who are hustling in their lives as well, and promotes their endeavors by having them take up a post behind the bar. And on a talk show host level, it’s certainly an original way to have a sidekick tucked away to bring forward into the interactions now and again.

I remember that episode, maron kinda fucked with him in a passive aggressive kinda way. But all that's told is how crazy Gallagher was.
I love maron because hes a great interviewer...but if you dont fit his button, he'll try to throw you out, or not even try you on.
