This channel needs to blow up because this content is almost as good as game theories. Please remember me when you blow up.

Don't forget that not only did Google tribute to techno, but so did Microsoft. The Minecraft Java launcher, for about 2-3 months after his death, the pig on the launcher had a crown on.

One of the worst feelings is hearing one of your most beloved youtubers pass, rewatching their videos is always bitter sweet.

The way that Techno’s fanbase all rallied around his father after his passing always warms my heart. We could have all just wallowed in our parasocial grief, but we saw a man who’d lost his son, a son who’d barely been allowed to be a man (Alex was only 23 when he passed), and we all decided to support him, even gave him the nickname Technodad.

“So Long Nerds” might be the only video on YouTube I have ever fully cried on. I started watching him so long ago I don’t even remember. I watched him for so many years, from the very beginning. Nobody was more fun to watch than him.

Fun fact: Mojang, Minecraft's devs, put a crown on the pig on Minecraft's launcher, as well as a possible phrase "Technoblade never dies" on the game's main title screen

The ending section with Techno, it reveals that he’s at this point the embodiment of “You may have killed the man, but you cannot kill the spirit/idea.”

His influence was felt across so much, due to his skill, dedication, and overall care for anything he put his hands on.

I’m sure when he was around, he was the greatest friend to have. And to this day, there’s still tributes to him, as he deserves. He shouldn’t be forgotten, ever.

Mattpat was a genuinely kind and caring guy and while I was already out of school and an adult when he started game theory he was like a Bill Nye or Mr Rodgers for my nephew's generation and now he gets to go and spend more time with his own family. I remember taking my nephew to meet him and my nephew gave him some FNAF sketches he made and it really looked like Matt was so excited by it that he was about to cry a bit he did it with everyone who brought him stuff like he still couldn't comprehend that so many people looked up to him even after years of being a beloved and popular YouTuber he was really humble

I remember seeing the “so long nerds” video 2 years ago. I hadn’t cried like that in like 10 years. It had such an impact on me. His famous phrase “technoblade never dies” was never meant for his physical life but for his legacy that will never die. This was a great video. Would love to see more videos like this one

Watching Tom Scott's goodbye was the most sad yet happy and alive I have ever felt while watching a YT personality. I learned so many things from him and found so many places I want to go.

I feel so indescribably sad for techno’s dad because he had to make that video and I know every video he makes, he hurts and has to relive the moment when his son was diagnosed with a rare cancer. So long techno…

What makes game theory so different from everyone else is that he’s basically a father. so many kids grew up looking at him play games or theorize about them, almost made memories with him. only wholesomeness comes out of that man. when/if dantdm quits, there’s going to be the exact same response. they both raised a generation.

The techno bit about made me cry. I was at a summer camp and I came back to see “so long nerds” had been up for a day. I clicked on it thinking maybe he was taking an extended break to deal with his illness, but as soon as I saw his dad in the chair, I knew what I was about to hear. It’s a lesson to me to live my life to the fullest, because I don’t know when something could happen to me. Technoblade Never Dies!

the fact youtube even made a video about techno definitely says something about the impact of his death

For Dream, what went wrong with the face reveal was probably more to do with his faked speed run controversy with the Minecraft community. It created a massive crack in his reputation and created a grumble of discontent. The face reveal was merely the catalyst that allowed for his general audience to complain rather than his face being… disappointing? (It’s usually weird for face reveals to go wrong.)
