Ars Nocturna was formed in Stavropol (Russia) in 2009 under the name of Nocturne. First demo was recorded in 2013 and was called "Ouroboros".

After changing the crew and military service bandmates reanimated the band and rercorded debut singles and first LP called Epsilon.

Ars Nocturna's Μusic is based on mythology and Βrutal Sound with Oriental and Εthnic Μelodies combined with Γrowling Volals.

The band has released 2 full length Αlbums so far.

139 - cabbalistyc meaning of oil or petroleum. Album is based on the works of Reza Negarestani and Nick Land.

"139" is second EP from Ars Nocturna! Before "139" in 2020 released the experimental EP "Exodus".
