Her own stepfather sells Yennefer for four marks, less than half the value of a pig, to the sorceress Tissaia de Vries. Although she is obviously mistreated, beaten and kicked, she still wants to stay in this place. She doesn't want to go. The chin trembles. So much sadness in the eyes.

I hate how they made it that it was her step father who abused her, in the books it was her real father which made her character more tragic

I just can’t get over this scene. Her pain feels so real. It is so f**ing sad. I just can’t stand scenes where innocent people are being treated like garbage.

And she maintained good morals even after everything she went through, she will always be my favorite witch in the Witcher series and in my opinion the best girl for Geralt.

In my opinion, she saved her by taking her away from her stepfather who hated her. Her mother did want to save her but she was too afraid to do anything. The witch even taught her magic to defend herself against people like her stepfather.

lol when this first came out i was furious cuz this yennifer was different than the game...only after reading the books did i realise that this depiction is actually lore accurate. the games make her too beautiful
