Please do not end it! This podcast has been with me through the best and worst phases of my life. I started listening to it in the first year of high school and now I'm in the second semester of college in another country. Having an episode to look forward to really kept me going through difficult times and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels like that. You guys are the best. ♥️♥️ cheers

A few people are linking to this clip as an explanation for why HI finished after episode 136. And I'm gonna be the one to say it - the "lesson in life" part sucks. If Grey had uploaded a short announcement after the episode, then that would have been more than enough to send the message - "the things you love can disappear at any moment" - as intended.

But instead, the show did _not_ "disappear". It faded out over many months as people slowly gave up hope of a new episode in what was already a difficult year. Even 2 years later, people are falsely getting their hopes up whenever they remember this podcast exists and check for new episodes. If you read the comments of episode 136 and sort by Recent, you'll see some people never stopped waiting in the first place. And I think it's cruel to bait them.

Just to borrow from the TV analogy, it's like finishing a show with a sequel hook, even when there is no chance in hell of a sequel happening (writers not interested, studios not shopping around the IP, nothing gets made even if the fans demand it). I accept there may be _some_ times where a creator leaves it open because they're really not sure themselves, but this is not one of those times. Like, if you've finished creating a piece of media, then do the decent thing and own up to it. Don't implicitly bait people with a continuation that you have no plans of releasing.

Well... Season finales most often indicate a hiatus until the next season starts. Are you guys saying that you are taking a break? Because I could totally live with that. But the podcast must continue in order to keep my psychosis in check.

Please don't stop I don't know what could replace this. You guys are just the best two guys talking podcast. Often I find media draining because of drama or story/plot but listening to you guys complain about stuff is one of the few things that I could listen for hours too. I understand if you need a break but you have so much more to discuss!

There's also the option that you're messing with us and have no plan to stop and I just want to make it clear that I fully support this option.

One of the shows my wife and I enjoy (Supernatural) has a different intro when it's the season finale, often with a compilation recap of the season, and of supporting characters/themes you maybe haven't seen in a while but will be relevant in the finale. I wish more shows did this.
