FF9 (LLNE) Ep 06 Black Waltz No - 3

We're down 1 character but that's ok because he doesn't use any Multi-targeting spells unless you use physical attacks on him. Also, he doesn't counter Vivi's spells so it's safe to use them freely. Those along with Steiner's Sword magic can make the fight pretty simple.

If you're lucky, BW3 will spend most of his time attacking Zidane, Zidane is able to survive most of BW3's attacks, giving vivi and Steiner time to focus on attacks. I wanted to use as few Phoenix downs as possible, and I think I got it down to a good number.

After this fight, I'm going to be using the cotton robe trick to get lots of money and then stock up on potions, phoenix downs and tents. We're almost done disc 1 yet it feels like I just started!

The cotton robe trick is where you simply synthesize a bunch of cotton robes. They require Wrists and Steepled hats and they sell for more money than it costs to synthesize them. It's a great way to make a bunch of money. Ideally, one would try to get 100 of 100 Nobles impressed to gain 10, 000 Gil. Then you buy 99 wrists in Dali. once you reach lindblum, you just synth 99 cotton robes and wind up with 200, 000 gil. (You can have more than 99 wrists if you equip them)
