People are always people. Being born in another country isn't going to make somebody fundamentally different from you or I. Our governments hating each other shouldn't deter us from becoming friends, and in fact I think it's a really good thing that American and Chinese citizens are suddenly getting to connect and joke together in a way we normally don't.
