WATCH LIVE: Former President Donald Trump holds Bronx rally not far from AOC's district.

Former President Trump is holding a rally in the New York City borough of the Bronx Thursday evening, making a foray into a Democratic Party stronghold.

Although Trump is unlikely to flip the state of New York this November, analysts suggest that the setting provides an opportunity to create excitement among supporters who otherwise might not get to a rally, as well as press attention in the nation’s biggest media market.

Trump is slated to begin speaking at 6 p.m. EDT.
