6 Star done earlier this year.... will definitely be keen to add Sydney in August.... and then.... Cape Town '26 and Shanghai '27 will have to look quite tempting wont they!!! VERY exciting

The cost has become prohibitive. No thanks. Plenty of other races out there that are more interesting, including the likes of trail ultras, for a fraction of the price.

Finally, more majors from different continents. Asia/Pan Asia getting more... And its about time African continent get a major given how many elite runners are from Africa. Its a joke how America got 3 majors to them selves 🙄

As an Australian, having Sydney confirmed as a major makes me happy, but having already run Sydney three times it also annoys me, too many people makes the race frustrating as hell.

They should do a one off change for the next Sydney marathon making it the 7 pointed star on the Aussie flag just for the mean time
