It has been so fun to see you so excited about reading again! It's definitely easy enough to get into phases where you're still reading but it's not as exciting as it is other times but your enthusiasm for it recently has been infectious. I've also been loving the more casual backgrounds etc because it feels like hanging out with a friend talking books 💛

March was quite a good reading month for me. I tried to finish two more books in the last week but I had a really bad cold which absolutely sucked, I was doing well but it is what it is ❤

Since you like children’s books I thought I’d recommend The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate Dicamillo.
I’m a book lover but that book still stands as my most favorite book of all time. Such a heartwarming read and you can read it within 2 hours. I’ve never seen anyone review it before and it makes me sad because it’s just so good.

I agree with you that I Kissed Shara Wheeler felt like Paper Towns. I preferred Paper Towns, so that wasn't really a win for me.

I read IKSW this month, and YES! It felt so much like Paper Towns that I just wasn't vibing with it!! Also like the plot itself was so predictable to me and it really fell flat unfortunately. Haven't tried any of her other books though
