Considering it's drawing less power, it's consistently pushing higher FPS, and in today's times it is around 100€ cheaper on Amazon. The 6600xt is better in every way. At least until prices calm down, if ever.

Look at the power draw for both gpus, 7nm RDNA2 is so power efficient.

The RX 6600 XT seems to perform slightly better in all games, except when ray tracing is on.

Who else noticed the R9 5950xt usage drop from 33% in 1080p to 26% at 1440p COD Warzone. 6600xt is the one to go for.

From what I've seen some of the AIB cards are at msrp with some in the $400 - 450 range with the highest being $550. The RTX 3060 seems to be a bit pricier but not by a whole lot. I know looking at msrp's alone this card isn't well priced but if you look at what gpu's actually sell for this aint a bad little card. Finding it at around $400 in todays market where RX 580's are selling for that on ebay ain't too bad.

Got my 6600xt for $329 usd was initially worried about the 8gb gddr6 vram on a 128-bit bus, but then I remember it has 32 mb infinity cache and BETTER performance than the competing rtx3060. I almost bought an rtx3050ti 8gb for the same price, SO GLAD I didn't. At the time I bought it, little did I even know I was buying the RTX3060's defeater! All with less wattage too.

Classic example of amd vs nvidia in one has far superior features while the other is stronger in traditional rasterization. If you're just going to game, grab the 6600xt. If you're into encoding, recording, nvenc, DLSS/rtx/etc, grab the 3060. Of course prices are a fair bit into consideration for consumers, this generation, AIB AMD cards have a grossly higher retail price than Nvidia which kind of kills it. On release of the 6700XT for example, it cost me about $820 with tax since before, its retail was like $780 for the MSI Mech Variant.

Warzone and HZD, interestingly, are games that require more VRAM from the RTX 3060 than the 6600XT

I feel like a true dummy. I had a chance to buy a 6600XT for $399 brand new and I passed on it because I wanted the Nvidia 3060, then when I got home and found out I couldn't get a 3060 for less than $800 right now I really wanted to slap So now I'm sitting here still using my old Nvidia 560 TI and it looks like I will be for a long time.
