Synopsis:
In a park on a rainy evening, a 19-year-old university student, Fumi, offers an umbrella to a soaking wet 10-year-old girl, Sarasa. Realizing her reluctance to go home, Fumi lets her stay in his place, where she spends the next two months in peace. They take each other's hands and seem to have finally found their place in the world until Fumi is arrested for kidnapping.　Fifteen years later, the lonely two are reunited both still suffering from the stigma as the victim and perpetrator of “a pedophile case”. Will the society give a place to their unshakable bond they have formed?

Watched on plane, flight from Bangkok to Japan, 24 September, 2022. My life was all over the world and myself was anywhere. Nearing my 30s, deciding nothing but only my tomorrow, yet only thinking about deciding others tomorrow. From around 100 movies selection the wandering somehow attracted my attention from my previous flight. As an life long movie enthusiastic, movie really moved my and settled me. Recommended for people who wandering.

Watched it last night and I can say that this is a cinematic masterpiece. The phasing & cinematography is done really well. The actors were captivating. I'm one to get impatient sometimes that I fast forward the scenes that I feel are just "fillers" but I found myself glued even on the silent moments, and that is very telling of how you get sucked into the world of characters. My prejudice was crushed as I learn why the characters did what they did and I end up just wanting to apologize to fumi & sarasa in behalf of the society that has been cruel and unkind.
