When I first memorized it, I personalized it, thus: "I, who have been raised with Christ, shall ..." [with the help of Christ and the Holy Spirit, ...]

So true! I was big into listening to the news, even conservative news. It was making me angry and I was loosing my peace. I decided to focus less on the news, more on Christ, read the Word and listen to your messages every day before work.
