'what if he's stuck on a cactus?' is so hilariously ridiculous

The person on facebook who proposed that he's in his own search group cluelessly looking for himself... buddy

I think watching scooby doo should be obligatory education for anyone working with search rescue

The Facebook discourse was hilarious. I cannot believe that some adults lack so much reasoning tbh

The sad likelihood is that he didn’t make it after a couple of days, and the search teams are looking for a body.

Regardless of what he did in the past, this is a sad story. The internet is full of idiots sadly, who are prone to conspiracy theories and ignorance.

Well, as mentioned at the beginning of this video, saying something about karma vis-á-vis Jay is probably not helpful but it is the first thing that comes to mind. However, the whole thing is worth it because they found that poor Scottish guy. That’s a very positive thing. I’m glad he didn’t die out there. I recall that they didn’t find Julian Sands in time to save his life and that was really sad 😕

The great thing about the British public is that they can find humour in the worst of situations.

You’re on holiday …. Your friend calls you saying they are lost but you know there location …. You get in a taxi and go try pick him up right ?? Or do you go on the internet and set up a go fund me page for £30k to help get him back ?? How did Lucy know that Jay wouldn’t turn back up within a few hours or later that day

The Nicola Bulley disappearance really damaged my view of the British public. The most likely explanation was that she was in the river, the evidence that was made available suggested that she was in the river and there was no evidence of a third party involved, the police who were on the scene with all the available information were very inclined to believe that she was in the river. - So, with all of this, what did all of the armchair sleuths and nosy Norris’ suggest? Well, ‘the police are a disgrace and the poor woman is being harmed by an abductor and probably the husband is involved and she obviously isn’t in the river.’

Imagine being the missing persons friends or family and seeing stuff like this. These people are disgusting and I think that they actually speculate on these crazy outcomes not because they actually believe in it but because they find it exciting and like to think of themselves as being at the front of the line in solving some grand elaborate mystery.

To all these people I say: This is real life, real people are missing and need help from professionals, partners, parents, siblings, friends and worse still children are suffering from the absence of someone they love and seeing the horrible and baseless speculation that you post, professionals are deeply involved and emotionally invested in their search efforts and are surely hurt to see your speculation that they aren’t doing their job and don’t care. - Just stop.

So, a member of the public helped find gabby. A member of the public actually found nichola! We're not all bad then! Plus I'm sure police don't down tools to read ppls online comments.

they should try looking for the other guy now. I can never find my keys when I'm looking for them. Now if I look for my phone, I can find my keys super easy.

"leave that to the pros"
the same pros that say all hypotheses are on the table?

The facts are that he is a violent young man involved in supplying class A drugs, attacking a person with a machete and witness intimidation. These are facts. The police are looking into these aspects as they look to be relevant to the case.
