Thanks for the honest review. You're the first person I've seen that mentioned the weight, or the lack of weight on the watch. I personally like a watch with some weight to it. I've been lusting over this watch but I think I would be kind of disappointed with the lightness of it.

Is there another GS in a similar price range that's stainless steel?

I don’t understand why people don’t understand o accept a new technology ! Previously there was manual winding watches, then came automatic, then came quartz ( I don’t like it personally due to battery replacement ) then came spring drive, which basically an automatic with quartz assist, no battery needed. So what’s the harm in accepting the new technology ? In fact it is much more accurate ! Rolex or any other movement doesn’t comes close ! We should shed this brand locality thing and appreciate the new technology.

The Swiss Watch industry has no answer to GSs level of detail and finish below 10k. They cannot since al those watches they produce are mass produced machined watches. Very little innovation and lots of hype.
