That's it, that's why I admire this guy, he's an old-fashioned vigilante. He does this because he must have lost his father in that cruel way, an accident because of an incompetent young man.

Gotta love how he purposely spins out of control and jackknives just to avoid taking out an innocent driver. This proves that Rusty doesn't actively look for victims, he only witch-hunts people who actually grind his gears.

The chase was my favorite part of the third movie. The only thing that gets to me, though, is later when Jordan says "Good thing he's in a big rig 50 miles away". Aside from the fact that after he jackknives and gets left in the dust, he somehow catches up with them again that quickly after 50 miles (though it could be possible that since this road is in the middle of nowhere, there are little-no cops around to stop him from exceeding the speed limits), he later contacts them on the CB. CBs only have a range of 5-10, maybe up to 25, miles.

At first I thought Rusty Nail was gone blow them up with the gas but I thought maybe he got rid of the gas for them to run out

And that 's why I like the screw driver, if the guy was a psychopathic killer, he had run over the innocent driver 's car, he hadn't done all that maneuver, he 's just an old fashioned vigilante, well his father died in a big way unfair and he saw the death of his father qd was small.
