Indian Navy undertakes Twin-Carrier Battle Groups Operations with more than 35 Aircrafts

INS Vikramaditya and INS Vikrant lead the operation along with MiG-29K fighter jets and other support aircrafts. The Indian Navy carried out a mission in the Arabian Sea on June 10 that encompassed two aircraft carriers, multiple warships, submarines, and over 35 frontline planes, in one of the largest exhibitions of its operational capabilities in recent years, amid China's escalating advances into the Indian Ocean.

The Navy's aircraft carriers, INS Vikramaditya and newly inducted INS Vikrant, served as floating airfields for a variety of aircraft, including MiG-29K and helicopters such as MH60R, Kamov, and Advanced Light helicopters, officials said.
