What is aperitivo - Today we will tell you one of the best thing to do in Italy, Aperitivo, a great Italian tradition that is becoming really popular.
Well Aperitivo, or Aperitif, is basically Italian happy hour. what is so special about it, you might ask. Well the thing that sets Aperitivo aside from happy hour everywhere else is the fact that when you order a drink it comes with complimentary food! So next time you are visiting Italy stop for an Aperitivo you won't regret.

Aperol Spritz Original Recipe:

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

You guys…THANK YOU for this video. My partner and I are planning a trip to Italy next spring. We had heard about apertivo from other YouTubers and are eager to try it. As I am a drinker and my partner is not, I was concerned he might feel left out of the custom. While we were watching your video, I thought “wouldn’t it be nice if they made a video about non alcoholic alternatives for apertivo?” And a minute later I realized we were already watching that video! Many thanks for this all inclusive review of this Italian tradition.

I'm enjoying your videos as I get ready for Italy! One question comes to mind about aperitivo, and the food portion of it. If you have dietary restrictions, will these places adapt--say, bring you a vegetarian plate?

I’m also enjoying your videos & getting lots of helpful information, which I’m noting. Grazie.
Anyway, I haven’t heard you mention limoncello … yet … and thought this video was a good one to ask about it.
I’m wondering if it’s something I can try at an apertivo? I’ve tried it in the USA at a chain restaurant and have been told it’s much different there.
Not sure if I want an entire bottle, like Eric, yet, but do want to try the real thing.

Hello from Canada! I am learning so much from your videos. Could you recommend a place for an aperitivo near the centre of Rome?

Is aperitivo mainly a drink with small bites or is it just a drink or it can be just small bites before dinner without a drink? What’s the difference between aperitvo and appetizers?
