Good news! I have chatted with HIBY and they acknowledged this situation and they understand the need to make it easier for users to update FW on their DAC/Amps. So, for FC6, expect a new update from HIBY in the early weeks of May 2023 for a better updating solution

Dear Andy, your reviews are really helpful, I am enjoying the Hiby FC6 now for some time. Unfortunately connecting it to my iPhone SE 2022 is a hassle. Using an Hidizs adapter lightning tot USB C gives an audible hiss. On advice of Hiby I bought a camera adapter for lighting. Works fine on my iPad, but the iPhone can not give enough current to the dac. How do you connect the FC6 to an iPhone? Maybe I should buy a OTG cable… best regards!

Tried to upgrade my FC6 using both methods on a Win 11 laptop, and i'am pretty good with computers, none worked. Can't use Tidal with it. I will have to wait for the next firmware realease and a new tool.

I need your help andy. I have bought the ibasso dc04 pro and love it. But I don't know how to use the windows software nor do I see the same level of options that is available on their android app on pc. Could you help me regarding this? BTW I use a windows pc

Hi Andy,
I have just received my FC6, but I notice an unpleasant background noise in NOS mode when the volume is between 25 and 31. In OS mode no problem with background noise even at high volume. Is this normal?
I contacted Hiby customer service, but received a rough answer...I also have problems for updating the firmware. Unable to download 1.06 from their website (file problem). Firmware 1.04 is perfectly downloadable, the program recognizes the .BIN file but impossible to update the FC6!
I was really happy after seeing your review video to receive this FC6. But now I regret! Background noise problem in NOS mode, update impossible...
If you have an idea to help me, that would be really nice! Best regards.

Can you help me to update my hiby fc4? I downloaded the DFU tool from the official english website but it didnt work.

I cant tupdate it to v1.9 or v1.10-... Would appreciate your help a lot. I will check the chinese website but I am pessimistic...

I’m experienced in FW use as I work in IT. For one why label everything in English just to have the tool be in Chinese ? Also the fw fails every time between 12-23% no matter what version fw I try to load. Also it says 1.08>1.08.
