I am a tailor, 50 years of experience, one of the first things I learned about machine sewing is, wind your bobbin slowly the thread isn't stretched while winding and the heat of fast spinning doesn't warp the plastic bobbins. the worst problem with these machines and many others is the drop-down plastic bobbin case and bobbin, the case will knick and eventually jump out and jam and the bobbins always warp after a lot of use. thank you, I just got one of these machines as a gift. looks simple and yes, another thing I learned, always have the thread to start under the foot so it doesn't jam, it is also nice to have the threads to hang on to at the beginning of cut edges to start.
