This is *perfect* for the book I'm reading! A Tudor Christmas by Alison Weir & Siobhan Clarke. I just read the explanation of the boars head and learned that Henry VIII spent over £13 million on Christmas the first year of his reign. This makes me feel like I'm in the past!
