The headlamp is probably the best looking of all I have seen on any bike really. Props

Firstly, how strong the camshaft is? I know 9 ppl irl who have 790 that destroyed it's own camshaft even though they only use it as daily bike

That yellow is striking (I think Husqvarna noticed how glorious the cosmic yellow Striple is and took note!) and I love the headlight but I totally agree about the dash. Kinda reminds me of how much I disliked the way the bad winners dash looks on the Vitpilen 701. It looks better than the Svartpilen 801 but still doesn't look as striking as the Vitpilen 701.

Finally, they got the design language right in my opinion. Like it a lot. 👍🏻

Top thing to know- will it destroy its camshafts like its ktm counterparts do?

Rumor has the new model has switched cam material from Camembert to a mild cheddar.

Looks amazing and I’m sure handles amazing too. I like the styling and the everyday usability of it. The question of the camshaft problem is just too big an issue to even contemplate buying one.

It needs to be disclosed that this bike is made in China by a Chinese motorcycle company, not by Pierer (KTM).

Not keen on the Pixar desk lamp headlight.

Apparently it loses the quickshifter thats on the svartpilen so thats quite a change

The WHITE arrow is now... yellow? 😔 So I assume the Svartpilen will be blue or green or something else inapt.
Good vid, Mr Bob - as always.

camshafts are still made of plasticine and requires replacement after 5-10 kkm?

I think the biggest question is what you are getting more over the KTM for $1300 US MSRP? Both *pilens don't make sense to me over KTM. Sure, it looks better and has a little bit better tech package, but for that price no quick shift other than as an option? Seems widely overpriced compared to a cheaper XSR900 that has an IMU and quick shifter blipper standard (and 20 more hp with just a little bit more weight.) Plus, you have a grenade proof motor in the CP3. I want to love Husky naked bikes, but can't.
