Israeli war coverage: Israel Defense Forces identified the dead hostages as Ori Danino, 25; Eden Yerushalmi, 24; Almog Sarusi, 27; and Alexander Lobanov, 33; who were also taken from the music festival. The sixth, Carmel Gat, 40, was abducted from the nearby farming community of Be’eri, according to Israeli forces.

Israel said it recovered the bodies in Gaza. Israeli-American named Hersh Goldberg-Polin was one of the most well-known captives held by Hamas. His parents tried meeting with world leaders and pressed for his release.

Israeli forces say all six had been killed shortly before the arrival of IDF troops. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas will pay.

Lt. Col Nadav Shoshani said the army believed there were hostages in the area but had no specific indication from intelligence.

Americans held hostage by hamas in gaza and it takes almost a year for the USA to take direct action against iraq.

Do not forget that 9 Israeli hostages were rescued by the IDF in clandestine military operations, and another 100 or so hostages have been released through the exchange of prisoners. Israel is doing everything that it can to bring back their captives from Gaza, but we cannot be insensitive to the fact that there is a limit to the price that must be paid for every ransom. Do not dare forget that the mastermind behind the October 7th massacre is Yihya Sinwar, and he (being a terrorist) was released by Israel in a prisoner exchange for one Israeli held by Hamas in Gaza. Now look at the result of that one deal. It brought about a murderous cycle, the end of which we haven't seen yet.

Donald said the hostages are probably dead and he was right. He tells the truth about what is really going on in this crazy world we live in today. We need him in office today. And so sad.

No surprise here. It's what many of us suspected from say would as to the outcome. Why anyone would want to visit Israel or live there totally escapes me.

And Hamas supporters say they're good people. That they didn't do any harm in Oct 7th.

Hamas should be 100% blamed for this atrocities against innocent hostages. Shame on Hamas and all those who support these vile terrorists.
