I had PPD and PP psychosis. I did not feel instantly connected and remembered little about the first year of his life. But when he first cried, tears ran down my face. However, the thing that made me understand that it would be ok was that everyone and everything i loved paled in comparison to him. It was like they were black and white, and he was technicolor.
It took me 13 yrs to get pregnant, I miscarried his twin, and it took me a year to feel like he was real. There is a lot of shame and guilt i felt and still do. But my son is the most important thing in my life, and i hope i raise him to be kind, humble, generous, and overall, just happy.

Yup when I got done pumping one day when my son was like a month old I felt the most natural high I’ve ever felt in my life it was AMAZING!!!! The hormones for me were great…. That love for your baby is your whole existence nothing can compare or compete with Your such a amazing Mother ❤
