I totally get the comments about Jack Nicholson “not being handsome.” What y’all are missing here is that he’s charming. So charming and persuasive that he seduces them. There are many men like this but I think Jack did a really great job with this part. Plus, he has something that a truly handsome actor may not have been able to do - comedy! I thought it was hilarious that he was getting his butt kicked by “Mother Nature” (the 3 of them casting him away) and getting all disheveled and the true evil coming out. I thought it was totally brilliant!

To me Jack Nicholson is hot af in his young years. Makeup, hairstyle and hair colour play a huge part on how we perceive someone's age in a movie, also costume design. He could've been made to look better, but they chose not to. 7 years before this movie he was good looking in The Shining. His features are very unique and I like them.

People saying Nicholson isn't handsome.... Were you guys alive in the '80s? Dude has women around him all the time. He may not be a pretty boy, but he absolutely had charm and good looks.

Jack was the perfect man for this role. He was handsome, but not pretty. He was charming and arrogant. He was funny! His face had a character that left us guessing.."Is he hot or not?" He was also the Devil, so had he been CLASSICALLY HOT, this sad generation would be complaining that Satan shouldn't have been portrayed as sooo attractive! We liked powerful characters to look like grown Men, not Pretty Boys . Great movie!

I was 9 when this movie came out, and it is the ONLY time I remember my dad going to the theater with us. He made us leave right after it started because they said the “f-word.” To this day, I have never seen the movie. 😂 I now find it funny that they took a 9 year old to an R rated movie and then got offended by the language. 😂
