I'm in Colorado and somewhat a practical conservative/ independent - voting blue again since 2008 though!
I regard Bernie as one of perhaps two politicians in my lifetime, as having integrity and looking out for the working class and what is right action, on many topics.

I work for Starsux, and this is exactly why I am afraid to even consider calling for more info on unionizing. I need my paycheck, and if upper management got a whiff of what I talk about with my coworkers, they would nitpick and find reasons to write me up to fire me. It's sad that we have to worry about retaliation even when it's illegal. That's how they keep us "in our places."

Why are corporations allowed to CONTINUE their criminal activities after simply paying a fine. Shut them down for good, expel them from the market, make their criminal activities punishable and ENFORCE THE LAWS.

Bernie Sanders is such a national treasure. He is also a tremendous example for younger politicians who are both sorely in need of that example and seemingly incapable of following it. It is a shame of incalculable proportions that Senator Sanders never became President Sanders. We, as a country, are much worse off for that collective lack of courage.
