I'm from the UK, and I was recently on holiday on the West Coast. I was speaking to a female former service member of the army who said that she hates the United States and there's nothing good about it. I couldn't believe what she was saying whilst sitting poolside at a luxury resort drinking. I'd just like to say in the short while that I was there I came to the conclusion that in your country I would have much more freedom than I would at home (except for drinking and smoking but im not too keen on either). And that the majority of people who l spoke to were remarkably polite and friendly. It's also a very beautiful country. I've seen the deserts of nevada and the mountains of Yosemite, and I was in absolute awe. I also visited a lovely little preserved old western town, with wild donkeys that roam around and love to be petted, called oatman on the recommendation of an older gentleman who was working at a dennys.
How someone could say they hate such a beautiful country full of kind people is completely beyond my comprehension. America, for all its faults, is without question the best country in the world and if my family and friends didnt live so far away from it I would love to live there. ❤️ 🇺🇸
