The fact that Poco f3 is still being compared with newly released phones means this baby's still a beast. I don't own a poco f3 but it's fame really says a lot about this phone. The hype of the f3 just doesn't fade
Ps. At least, for now

Redmi note 11 pro for me. I don't play any high demanding games, so the dimensity 920 is more than enough. Better design, build quality, battery life, charging speed, cameras. No brainer

I would only choose redmi note 11 plus if they had the same processor and type of storage. I like the design of matte back of rn11 pro and other stuffs, it's just the mediatek that I think falls short for it's price comparing to the poco f3.

I got my Poco F3 5G ocean blue last 2 weeks. For me I have no regrets buying it. I need the power of the processor for its hardly no lag ability esp when I need to get things done fast at work. Previous fone always gets jammed when u need to do things urgently when running heavy working apps. So I got the highest specs. Amoled screen makes it nicer to read and sharp. Dun really bother about camera Coz most phones nowadays is good. Plus I don't play games. Thank you for your reviews, it help me allot.

I'm a simple man. I see SD870, I'd grab that.

that 5mp macro on the f3 is very useful for reading tiny microscopic fonts on product labels
even if you take with 108mp camera and crop it, it will not be as clear

You don't need good designs when most of the time, you will face its front and multitask. F3 for me.

Important differences:
Redmi Note 11 Pro+:
- has SD card slot
- has Audio Jack
- has an amazing camera for the price

POCO F3:
- has a faster processor
- has faster storage

I choose the Poco F3 any day although the 11 pro+ is a great addition in this pricerange:
- much faster (even 2x the GPU speed of the 11 pro+)
- a snapdragon SoC means a long time future custom roms
- thinner/lighter. To me very important and often overlooked.
- camera is nothing to complain about. Since the last update the cam got noticeably better even night pics.
- charging speed: 20%-80% in 30 minutes is no slouch either.

Poco F3, hands down, compared to Redmi, or even A52 and other budget phones out there. Here's my reasoning.
Most people would buy these kind of phones as more of a near-investment, a money splash for people short in cash, expecting to make the phone last for more than a year, unlike rich people that are eager to upgrade after a year, even if their current phones are still fine.

And so lies my point: the purchase should be future-proof. And so processor capability after two years shall be considered, software updates second, and everything else are just marginal. In this case, Snapdragon 8xx chips are generally favored for future-proofing, SD 870 (over Dimensity 920) is a great assurance that your phone will work out just fine even after 5 years. I've seen people in countries like mine (PH) sporting phones with SD 801 chipset running just fine even after 5 years (looking at LG G3 peeps still kicking before the pandemic). Mediatek chips on the other hand while can still work after x number of years but you will see the more lack of support updates and its more sluggish performance.

Only the headphone jack is the disadvantage of the Poco F3. But not 100% of the time you will use headphones, and BT options are there and is competitive in quality. Processors on the other hand..you will use it 100% of the time you open your phone.
Camera? Only marginal in improvement for the past few years. Battery? Not bad. Display? This one is also flagship-level. There's no cons, really. Cherry on top is the future-proofing in storage speed, too. Trust me, go for Poco F3 if you want an investment of a budget phone.

Overall well reviewed, I think you covered everything of importance to a average user. I would personally choose the redmi as I do not really require an awesome processor, and the only thing I'm looking for is an premium look, and an good performance. However, I would like there to be an software test also, like the apps that come predownloaded with the phones. Thank you 👍

The problem with Poco, Redmi, Xiaomi is allways the weak software adjustment to cameras and the worst thing is when launching a new device like RN 11Pro already saying: "we hope next software update....".

Mostly happy with the F3's performance since I've had it almost a week now, but it's buggy in certain areas. Biggest concern is that a 53-minute phone call drained the battery this morning from 100% down to 18%. Very concerning. Yes, I had the speakerphone on, but still. I may be returning this one and exchanging for another because it's a great device in most all other ways, especially the display definition and it's speed. And imho, in the comparison photos, the Redmi's pics didn't look all that better than the Poco's, quite frankly. Sure do wish it had wireless charging.

The camera is better because Mediatek prioritized camera performance for an affordable price in the 920. There's a Mediatek video on youtube showing this...Though the upcoming K40 will feature a top level Mediatek 2000 and so will the F4 in Q1 of 2022. So not only in gaming will Mediatek try to compete with Snapdragon, but also cameras...
