Same thing happened to me in the beginning but France attacked Germany who allied Italy and the Uk but France ended up winning after 3 years I cheered for them but like 15 years later he attacked Tokyo but I lived even at 39% good thing I taxed the living hell out of my population to then buy everything I could to save myself but Mongolia and Gran Colombia helped me so thanks to them I lived
