Hello! The Chaos Emerald is a reference! In Sonic Adventure 1, Tails mentioned powering a plane (the Tornado, at the time), with a Chaos Emerald (it failed). It ends up being a perfected system, by the start of Sonic Adventure 2, with the Cyclone.

I screamed when I saw Metal Sonic in the thumbnail, he’s my favorite Sonic character!!

I really wish Metal Sonic was more akin to his LEGO Dimensions appearance, he was way more accurate and robotic looking with that. As a minifigure, he doesn't look as good. Still happy to have him, but man he could've been so much more. The Cyclone looks great though, and I hope an Eggwalker is coming soon. Pair him with some G.U.N. robots and you've got a great set right there.

This is cool, we finally have Lego Metal Sonic!
The small problem is that the legs make him look a little bit like a knock off. I'm sure they can do better than that.

The hole behing metal is meant for his torso. Its a refrence to his V Maximum Overdrive attack from Sonic CD and Sonic Generations.

I love that we're finally getting more in game builds. I'm very pleased with this wave, the set's aren't over priced at all

4:58 the ingame reason as to why it has wheels is because its able to become a car as well as seen in the driving mini game

The early 2025 wave is giving a lot of love to SA2, and I'm totally down for that.

Ash, there is a cool detail about Metal Sonic, the hole in the back of his head can be placed on the neck attachment to make it look like he is flying

The only thing I don’t like about this set is that the Box art is Green Hill Zone and not Prison Lane.

This set is a really cool idea and does look cool. But I the Metal Sonic is disappointing. They should've given him the robot arms that some other figures have had. Maybe giving him the gremlin legs also would've worked. It's still great to get a set from Sonic Adventure 2, though.
