My crappy New Tool Album Update series returns! A quick summary of recent months, plus me basically falling for Kerrang's headline bait at the end. I made this video before the article came out. Now I've read it, and there's nothing new at all in there. The headline was just a scummy attempt to sell their magazine, and I fell for it. I wanted to believe.

I had a dream last night that I got the new album... it was called Echo, the cover was a deep blue and black. It was a record and in my dream i had to find a record player. and when I found one I played it and the record had images on it that moved when it played. I only heard the first song before the dream ended. it was descending, the song was amazing. It was unlike anything I have ever heard.

Good thing I got into Tool in 2016, can't imagine what it's like to wait for an album for 12 years

one thing I love about Tool is that it doesn't sound like 4 guys playing separate instruments. It sounds like one entity when it plays . That takes time to nurture properly I'd say.

I've actually been fairly paranoid that the world would end in nuclear armageddon before the album came out and we would all die with out ever hearing it.

The fear remains, but - could that be light I am seeing at the end of this lonely tunnel??

I'm not buying this "Evolution" thing. If you're as much of a Tool obsessive as I am you'll be somewhat familiar with them stating in an interview that titles are the final part of the process. Considering the fact that Maynard hasn't even written lyrics yet and recording hasn't begun, I highly doubt the album has been titled already.

Tool has always been a big inspiration for us! It's been a long wait but its seems their new album is finally on the horizon ! Exciting stuff!
