A quick question for you. When I press the trigger, my gimbal doesn't lock. It's still rotating. Is there a fix for this?

How do I lock it in position? I push the M button and my phone is vertical, I push the M button twice and my phone turns upside down facing the ceiling.

People put Chinese products down, because they are "Chinese" - but DJI produces excellent stuff ! That includes first drones, these hand-held stabilizers, action cameras, and many others. Way to go, DJI ! Own a drone and two Mimo 3 stabilizers - and love them! I support DJI all the way !

I purchased the DJI Osmo 3 a week ago and it has one serious shortcoming. The app for the Osmo 3 does not support saving video and images to the micro SD card. Apple does not allow microSD cards as it means they can charge so much more for storage capacity on their phones. Android phones allow storage on micro SD cards which is more cost effective storage system than what Apple does (no surprise there!). With over 80% of the worlds smartphones using Android it is very surprising that DJI didn't include the software on their app for the Osmo 3 allowing media to be stored on the Micro SD card. Thousands of apps allow this on phones so I am disappointed DJI has not implemented this software fix by now. Had I know this I would not have purchased the DJI Osmo 3 until this problem was fixed. Other than that, this is an incredible piece of kit for your phone :-)

as of feb 13, 2020 dji osmo mobile 3 still does not support filmic pro, and judging by filmic pro comments on forums, the osmo sdk as it stands todays is too buggy for the filmic pro support staff to program the filmic pro compatability. this is so bad for the osmo mobile 3 users who do not have filmic zoom, subject continuous follow, quick switching from photo to video. osmo 1 & 2 were eventually supported by filmic pro. but, its filmic pro that must support osmo and filmic pro has said in many forums, their staff finds the osmo sdk just way too buggy to work with their filmic pro code. so far, osmo has dismissed any hint that they would work on their sdk. The Zhiyun smooth 4, freefly movi sdk"s do work with filmic pro although many of us prefer the actuals physical performance of osmo 3. sad situation. android users have no zoom. almost no subject continuous follow, . we loose low shots flashlite mode. so what gimbal do you recommend with my samsung 10+ and compact video mic pro? Zhiyun smooth Q2?
