The Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies hosts ADM Charles A. Richard, Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, as part of our Nuclear Deterrence Forum series. This conversation is particularly timely given that America’s nuclear triad is currently undergoing a critical set of capability upgrades through programs including GBSD, LRSO, the B-21, the Columbia-class submarine, and its NC3. Considering the ongoing nuclear modernization efforts of China and Russia, as well as the demands of the security environment writ large, the ability to achieve “peace through strength” through a robust triad is more important than ever.

I’m surprised that he didn’t ask ADM Richard about if we should sell B-52s to Israel.... 😂
