To be honest I never really knew all that much about Cuban food! But I am desperate to try some now! I think often when you travel actually in many places the cheaper food, like street food, is so much better!

I am shocked at how cheap they peso food stands are! Especially the sugarcane juice, for just 4 cents?! I haven't read much about traveling in Cuba since it wasn't an option for us before (USA) but I'm starting to inspired to visit.

Hello guys, thanks for this video, I heard that as a tourist you are not expected to pay in national pesos but in CUC. But I see you guys did not have any trouble with this. I am landing in Varadero in March 2018 and now I am not sure about what to do when I change my dollars to cuban money, should I get both cuban currencies, let's say 50/50? Thanks for the info!

Hi guys. My wife and I are heading off to Havana for the first time in April. We've read lots of articles about staying away from the street food to avoid getting sick. We've taken Dukoral with the hopes that it will help. What's your secret? Have you built up a tolerance from previous travels?

Jus a little advise be careful with those drinks you buy. Unfortunately, the water that the locals use to make the juices sometimes is not good. Try to drink caned juices, and soft drinks. It is sad to say it but it is the truth. I am Cuban and I got really sick with a bacteria because of the water when I lived there. The water must be boiled before drink it. Just to give you the heads up. When it comes to the food you can buy it from anywhere and the locals know how to cook a real delicious Cuban meal. Enjoy Cuba !!!!
