This is how it should be made:

1. Add a good amount of salt to the cucumber(s) and let them sit for ten or so minutes to draw out the excess moisture
2. Rinse the salt off the cucumber(s) and pat them dry.
3. Add minced garlic, carrots (optional), onion (optional), gochugaru, fish sauce, sugar, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and sesame seeds and mix well
4. Let it sit in the fridge overnight to marinate
5. Enjoy
