Caylus always leave things exactly as you met them, especially the vase in the parents' room, the doors, and the lights. For the bathroom you have to do the laundry to get the item under the Grille- or you can find the screw driver. For the ladder outside, you need to find those planks, the hammer and the nail and nail the missing steps to the ladder. Preferably use the ladder route as it is the fastest to escape. You can distract the dog by microwaving some meat which you'll find in the fridge and feeding it to the dog

Haven't finished watching yet, but... Here's some tips!

Ring the doorbell, go into the kitchen, open the pan lids, turn off the hood above the stove, put the pans lids back, then turn the hood back on. It will lead to the window opening!

Also, if you ring the doorbell again go into the kitchen again and get meat from the bottom of the fridge! You can feed it to the dog!


Be careful, because if you keep ringing the doorbell without getting caught, she gets so fast that you have to hide in the bathroom!

Eventually she runs out to two people and you can escape!

Did you know there is a backrooms ending?

1. Go to roof
2. Jump on power line
3. By now you should be at the front of the house, run on the Fence to the back
4. Jump of and continue running until you reach the end of the map

My advice would be to watch other YouTubers like Caseoh play the game.

I'll go on if you'd rather not and have no spoilers about the ending. There are car keys that could help you find stuff. Each item is randomized, for the most part, so look in cabinets in the kitchen and living room. Make distractions like ringing the doorbell and texting the dad if you want to roam around without them catching you. It'll keep them from going back to their original rooms and its harder to search the living room when the dad’s there watching tv. Also might want to distract the dad if you're going to open the trunk of the car. One thing I will tell you is you will need to get the meat in the fridge to give to the dog. If you heat it up and give it to the dog, you can get the item the dog has.

One last important detail: you can block someone in that locked room. The one by the bathroom that is. If you find the key to it, you can unlock it and play the radio to get the mom inside, and then if you use the drawer, you can keep her inside enough for you to search the kitchen for things.

There's a lot to this game, but I'm sure you've got this.

I hope I didn't say too much. I just wanted to help and I've seen caseoh and 8bitryan’s playthroughs and thought I might as well suggest things.
