Senate passes resolution to block Trump’s Canada tariffs

Four Republican Senators — Rand Paul, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitch McConnell — voted with Democrats on Wednesday to undo President Trump’s 25% tariffs on Canadian imports. Senators voted 51-48 just hours after Trump unveiled his 'Liberation Day' reciprocal tariffs, applying 10% baseline tariffs on all imports.

I hope y'all realize this resolution passed by the senate does nothing. It needs to pass the house, where it is not expected to even be voted on, and then it most defintely won't be signed by the President if it every gets to his desk. So this resolution is meaningless.
