Census Records Not Always Correct (Quick Genealogy Tip #2)
Показать описание
In this video I explain why Census records aren't always exact. Names, birthdates, birthplaces, and much more can be incorrect. If the family wasn't home when the census taker came around then he would usually ask the neighbors and they didn't always know the correct information. If you are doing your genealogy research and find a census record that seems close to the family you are searching for but it isn't exact, you may very well have the correct document.
