The first time the phrase “human animal” was recorded in history was by Eichmann in WW2 he literally said “we have to be savages in a chapter that will never be written when treating human animals”, even their calculating of calories was also done

I have hope the democratic party will be a strong actor against the Palestinian genocide, however, there's a lot to be done before we reach that point. I'm thankful for all the people involved that put in the work🍉🍉

Lebanon discovers offshore oil and gas reserves, cure for economic woes in 2024

Beirut - Lebanon wants to become an oil powerhouse - recent explorations have discovered rich deposits of oil and natural gas under the seabed. However, some of them are located in disputed waters claimed by both Lebanon and neighboring Israel. Relations between the two countries have been strained for a long time and in 2006 they even resulted in a war conflict.

This year's spring polls gave Lebanon optimism. Offshore, it holds an estimated 850 billion cubic meters of natural gas and up to 660 million barrels of oil – enough for everyone.

"The volume will fully cover Lebanon's needs - certainly in the case of natural gas. We would like to start mining as early as 2026. The first goal is safety, but we are also thinking about others. If the production meets our expectations, they are also thinking about exporting"

Will oil employ young people?

As a country, Lebanon has relatively high energy requirements. Although it is small, it is densely populated - it has over 4 million people, which is about five times the area of Greece. For example, in the number of cars per inhabitant, it is among the leading countries in the world.

I didn't read anywhere how much oil and gas Lebanon has.

Algeria begins production of solar helium drones in Lebanon, sending tons of fuel into the dark.

An Algerian oil tanker set sail on Thursday for Lebanon, which has been without electricity since last weekend. The first shipment of roughly 30, 000 tons of fuel is now on its way from Algeria to Lebanon.

The last working power plant in Lebanon was shut down on Saturday due to a lack of fuel to generate electricity.

As a result, customers throughout Lebanon, including major cities and important infrastructure: airports, ports, pumps and city systems, were without electricity supplies.
Power outages using diesel generators.

The energy crisis has also been attributed to decades of corruption in the political class and business world. According to the United Nations, three quarters of the country's more than six million inhabitants live below the poverty line.

Such a complicated conflict. Netanyahu is as evil as is Hamas' military leader, Yahya Sinwar. Sinwar has described the tens of thousands of Gazans killed and injured as “necessary sacrifices.” This cynical encouragement of loss of life and harm to their fellow Palestinians has long been a prominent feature of Hamas’s strategy. “Our job is to keep Palestinians radicalized. Most of them would settle in a moment for peace, some deal that will let them get on with their lives. We need to keep them angry, ” The US supports Israel and Iran supports Hamas- - two powers who are both trying to control the region. Palesinians need 3 things: a 2 state solution with a plan for a stable Palestinian government (this alone would be hard to accomplish, ) a peace-keeping force made up of Arab neighbors, and billions of dollars for reconstruction. Neither Hamas nor Israel is interested in any solution as compromises from both sides would be great.
The protests by Democrats are naive and idealistic.
