No glitches or cheats, just the locations of gold bars in the single player game. Sell them to a fence, each worth $500, totalling at $8000 (+other loot some hundreds of dollars).

1:04 - Train wreck at Cotorra Springs (2 gold bars, available from the beginning of chapter 2)

6:00 - Braithwaite Manor (1 gold bar, available from the beginning of chapter 4)

I found all of these in my second playthrough and did all the camp upgrades and dontated 6, 000 dollars to the camp but according to Dutch “WE NEED MORE MONEY”

After treasure hunting for 8000 dollars, robbing a bank, a train, 50 stagecoaches, 30 houses and hideouts, selling 500 dollars worth of jewelry and selling bonds from an earlier train robbery.
Was dutch planning on taking them in a yacht made out of gold to Tahiti?

You can sell all the gold if you like, because Arthur can transfer his money to John very easily.Make sure you DO NOT do the "Aberdeen Pig Farm" until near the end of chapter 6 when Arthur has everything & no longer needs any money.Then you simply goto the pig farm & accept the invitation for dinner, then drink until they rob you.When you wake up in the cemetary, simply leave & finish chapter 6.Once Arthur is dead, go back to the Aberdeen Pig Farm as John Marston as soon as you can in the epilogue, & All of Arthur's money is behind the picture in the now abandoned house.

I cant even imagine how much gold is still hiding out there.. sitting in spots so subtle and random they may never be found. This Game holds many many secrets, its very cool. That's what an 8 yr development process gets us. :)

There are more locations.

One such is:
Reed Cottage (North of Annesburg)
You’ll get a map for a gold ingot to Elysian Pool

It’s under a rock to the north-west of the lake.

After beating the game, if you collected all 16 gold bars as Arthur, when you play as John, these 16 gold bars spawn again, meaning you could get 32 gold bars total, which is 16k

All the gold bars are available after you beat the game, even if you already got them all with Arthur.

Jack Hall Gang: 2 Gold bars
High Stakes Treasure: 3 Gold bars

2 gold bars from the train wreck
3 gold bars from the strange statues
1 gold bar from braithwaite manor
And an extra called a gold ingot instead of Bar I think it's from the german guy you save from story mode
