Hey guys, I, like many of you, have experienced the unfortunate disappearing car glitch! Even though Rockstar is already working to address this issue, here's how you can avoid the glitch in the meantime! Enjoy!

on single player, even cars legally bought on legendary motorsports delievered in bought garages are disapearing, that sucks

Never, and I mean NEVER waste money on a car that isn't the character's (Or Michaels' families) personal vehicles - it just isn't worth it. Take it on a mission? It'll be gone, or you won't remember exactly where you parked it to get into Lester's shitty sedan. Random car-bike theft event? Once you get too far away, your car will de-spawn (not always, but often enough). Only thing the stored vehicles are good for is looking at, maybe cruising around a little while. Sure, there are races, but the rewards are pitiful.

And then your multi-million dollar infernos with the armour plating and turbo steering which you keep safe in your four-car garage will vanish at random anyway.

Remember Saint's Row 2? They had a great vehicle storage system (Can't speak for 3 and on, because I don't like them) - you cars never fucking disappeared, and your modifications didn't vanish either. If Rockstar makes a Grand Theft Auto 6, I really REALLY hope they implement some actual proper vehicle tracking. Hell, they even have the technology - vehicle tracking in Online is great!

All right, my rant is over. I'm just sick of investing time and (game) money into my cars for no reason.

Imagine creating a game that's literally based on the crime of stealing vehicles and then not allowing players to actually acquire and keep a bunch of vehicles

I just went to Michaels garage with a extremely rare car.

Something worth mentioning regarding garages attached to a safehouse. The size limit is two vehicles regardless of the type so you can store two cars, motorcycles or bicycles or a combination but if you store eg one car and two bicycles, one is bound to disappear regardless of how little space they take up. Also don't be like me and store a bicycle in the passage inside Michael's house. It will go bye-bye😂😂

Nearly 5 years later and we still have that same fucking glitch, I've lost at least $500, 000 in cars that have disappeared due to this glitch

If yall are losing your cars check the vehicle impound it works for me after a misson just pay $250 to get it

My cars are stored in all of three garages, but if I use one of them to go to a mission and I left it parked, it dissapears after the mission and... It appear in the police depot. 250$ each.

Thanks for the video, can confirm vehicles are still de-spawning in player garages. I was gonna wait until I finished the campaign before buying properties so I can save up all the heist money for the assasination mission related stocks, but the garages are the only way to make sure you don't lose cars. I'm guessing Rockstar hasn't made fixing this glitch a priority because they're only focusing on GTA Online 🙃

Im just wondering, if you store a vehicle and then drive with it, do you have to manually drive it back or is it as in online where it becomes your own personal vehicle and it automatically returns?

I just lost my elegy I restarted and it's not there I used over 100, 000 dollars in upgrades for it and it just disappears I checked me garage and my apartment garage and there not there
