Its crankcase and cylinder block is built at the Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. factory in Győr, Hungary, whilst final assembly is at Sant'Agata, Italy.

i don't care about the people who say the Audi r8 is a ripoff counterfeit version of the gallardo...yes, one car is based off another, and shares the same engine, but they are unique in their own respects...both are amazing automobiles

That's why people are in low paid jobs because they have no ambition, they have no drive, all the goals in the world but are not supred on. But yet will obses over collecting toys, or cars, or comics, where as the rich people will obses over more money, more fame, going up, stepping on people, it's all a form a autisum. People like what they like and you cannot change that! For me the R8 looks better, but the GTR is just a much better car for the money! I would rather pay for the GTR and they put it to making the GTR better, the R8 is just fashion over subtance! I hate that! just like paying a fortune for Reebok or Nike over a cheaper pair that do excactly the same thing! It's rip off! I rebel against that!

Because they have a form of autisum, that propels them to make money, like every day people don't have. Where as some would be a shop attendant, or a clearner, rich people are not like this. Just because they make money does not mean they are clever. So tell me he in England GTR 75K Vs 110K for an R8, whats the benefit? Nicer interior? You can buy that for 10K look at NAGTROC, sound? Mods! Looks? Again in the eyes of the beholder!

Profits may go to Audi but Lamborghini has completely different engineers and also has their own facilities and CEO's that over looks their projects just like their owner Audi. Audi only sources things like climate control, radio and electronics features and goodies to Lambo while Audi borrows heavily from the Lamborghini chassis and engine bin. That's the advantage of owning a supercar company. Audi doesn't make Lamborghini, Lamborghini makes Lamborghini and shares with big brother.

wow.. Truly clueless. The r8 GT comes with a 6 speed DSG gearbox that shifts faster than you ever will in a standard manual which isn't an available option for the GT. It's a supercar, not sports car so therefore whatever makes it the fastest is used thus is the reason why the DSG manual is used.
