In this video we have a super busy Friday... first we need to take our Defender back into the main dealer to look at a couple of niggles we have had with the car. Then we look at some of the features on the Discovery 5 commercial courtesy car. Then its back to warehouse to finish unloading our 2nd 40ft container of the day.... and there is just some time left to look at some of the new wheels we have coming in !

I guess loss of power steering is a big issue. Would really like to know why. Thus is why I am going to wait a least a year.

hi there I am on my second defender 2020 model se 240 diesel and it looks like I have the same issues as you and many others .. JLR took back my first car and gave me a new replacement… look out for loose screws bolts and fixings !!!! aswell as lots of electrical problems

Still waiting for mine to arrive. I had a call from the dealer telling me the first one was driven under a low tree on the deliver truck and the roof was smashed in. Not sure if I buy that. Delivery now due by the end of the month? Fingers crossed

Gosh...worrying news about the Defender...are there some build quality issues perhaps??? Rev the camera..mine is good..the blind spot monitoring is a big aid to safety and my head up display is far more visible that the one you saw..I have large yellow numbers and graphics but they work well...and you saw those dents on the wheel...I hope it’s not a dud batch JLR have flogged off! The same garbage as I get in my 2010 LR4. Except for the 360 cam. Reverse only on mine. But the continual warning lights. Same old same old

Oh dear electrical gremlins on Land Rover's seem to be endemic.
Just wonder if you have done general driving mpg test yet?
Like the mods you have done so far.

My new 2019 Golf GTI had a similar message about a week after I got it "front assist not available" with a big exploding symbol on the dash.
Appeared once for a few seconds, over a year ago now. I've heard plastic bags flying up or leaves can affect it's "view"....not that happened to me.
I've got lane assist, absolute load of rubbish, mines now permanently disabled. I hate the constant tug on the steering wheel and if you don't indicate in time before overtaking etc it tries to pull you back in lane, very irritating...IMO of course.

I have the blind spot thing on my xc90, at first I thought this is a pain in the arse, but I miss it when I’m towing my caravan.

Love the videos but not the way you glossed over losing your power steering!! The loss of brake assistance sounds like something that could do with further clarification too.

Loss of power steering !    Says it all about this car .    I am already miss trusting the new so called Defender so much, that I am willing to bet that if my 1951 Austin Champ, went on an adventure into hmm, say the Amazon rain forest,    that my Champ would be the one to return without fault .

Hi 👋 another nice 👍 video with tow hooks look 👀 better . I have fitted duel 🤺 colour 🦶 footwell light 💡 in my Range Rover my daughters notice last night and they liked it so much. And they asked me to upgrade side mirror led light 💡 as well.
