The leather strips are just cool, and for decoration i think. But I would use it to test leather conditioners on it before I put it on the cleat itself. Like a test piece.

If the Copa 18.1 were around £85 I'd defo pick up at retail. Just a bit too expensive for what the boot is, easily the 2nd best looking boot out of the 4

These in the cold blooded pack were actually fresh, black with red and white accents. Underrated boot and in that color way you can't go wrong

my last boot before the copa 17.1 was the Adipure 4 SL. Any classic boot owners will love the 17 and 18. I don't even notice the tongue when playing. If you're focusing too much on the boots you're probably not focusing on your game.. I play GK and SB

What I feel these have over older boots is the tight locked down and locked heel, something I felt the adi 4's lacked but unsure if it was due to also a worn/slippery insole...
