The #organ of St Martin’s Church in #dudelange #luxembourg has a huge tapestry of colours, including these two powerful reeds!

It also has 4’ and 16’ Chamades, along with a 5 1/2 Chamade!! #epic

The organ is my own organ and the piece is Gigout’s ‘Grand chœur dialogué’.

Having just listened to the latest recording of Atlantic City's ever growing monster playing the hornpipe from Handel's water music, the gallery reeds sound absolutely fabulous and thrillingly loud. Talk about the sound' blowing one's socks off' I doubt whether there was a stockinged foot in the audience following that recital. Still, your demonstration is pretty awesome.

This piece was played with two organs at Ely Cathedral years ago when I was at school there. They had a vast electronic organ installed with speakers along the nave, played from the West end by the school's director of music. The grand cathedral organ was played by Paul Trepte and it was an epic battle between the two!
