Speed Climbing! Turbo Tom Professional Timbersport Athlete

This is the 90ft Speed Climb Quarter Finals at the Lumberjack World Championships! Speed Climbing is a race to the top of the pole and then back down to the pad. We are using a steel corded hemp rope, padded gloves, and in this 90ft race you are allowed to use modified climbing gaffs. We call them Toe Gaffs! You are required to cross the top line with your rope and then put a gaff into every section of the pole on the way down to make it a legal climb. The size of the sections depends on the height of the climb.
