Awakening - Amanda Lindsey Cook (Drum Cam)

Hey guys! Drums come in at 4:02, I decided this would still be useful to people learning this song and wanting a simpler drum part than the original recording.

We tried that but it was hard for vocalists/band members to feel where beat 1 was when I played it so I chose a fairly simple option of the epic part of the song towards the end.

In rehearsal, we decided to stay on the simpler side of things and felt great to keep 1/4 notes on ride.. so I did :D This song is powerful!!

Dude you rock this. As someone who is very busy and doesn't have lots of time to decipher this I would love to hear a tutorial on it (even just a simple breakdown). Until then... I'll be figuring out what I can haha. It sounds like there's some beat displacement or some funky syncopation.
