Wheels Through Time - 1912 Excelsior motorcycle

Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley, North Carolina is a step back in time for motorcycles. The Wheels Through Time museum has some the earliest and most unique and rare American made motorcycles one can see, including this rare Excelsior motorcycle. The museum founder Dale Walksler and his son Matt can often be found at the Wheels Through Time museum and are very friendly to visitors. When the Moto Oz Beat The Heat tour visited Wheels Through Time both Dale and Matt spent time with us sharing their knowledge and telling us stories about individual motorcycles. Matt gave us a lot of info this rare Excelsior motorcycle. Matt told us each individual assembled motorcycle in the museum could be started. He proceeded to start the Excelsior motorcycle for us. The bike roar to life. It was great to hear and see the bike starting up. The members of the Moto Oz Beat The Heat tour group asked questions and Matt patiently answered them. Maggie Valley, North Carolina is blessed to have such a great and prestigious museum to attract visitors. Motorcycle riders from all over the USA visit the museum.
